Default roof rack

I looked in the manual and can't find how to remove the center rails. I can move them front / back but not take them off.

like the back seat, I have no use for them, they just add wind resistance (yes, duh not much) but really, can't I take them off?

just the ones that run across the car, not lengthwise...

You have to remove the front or rear end caps on both sides and then slide them off.

Default yea

when I stood on the back bumper; that's what it looked like to me too...

i dont know... i just think it would be easier to wash/dry the roof and have less drag (about .000001% less) I'm never going to put anything up there... I use trailers for that kinda stuff...

thanks, when I get it back from the dealer maybe I can do that tonight if its not raining...
