2011 surburban ltz need to set clock there is no display for clock. when i go to clock display all that shows up is 12hr or 24hr

 

one last thing the battery was disconnected for a couple of days while i was dealer with other problems

 

found problem- you have to move vehicle out side of building. it must have to receive signal from a satellite for the clock to work. i would have never guessed that i thought the surburban was to old to have that feature. am i right or wrong ?

 

It is probably setting it over the radio, like these atomic clocks. Or via the Onstar service. Not sure.

My trucks have basic radios and I can set their clocks manually while the radio is off.
