Default Shocks for 2003 Suburban1500 LT 4X4 to tow 2-horse trailer

I got a used 2003 (5.3L) w/ 80000 miles on it in excellent condition but the horse trailer makes it sag. I had a 2008 1500 Z71 4x4 that towed the trailer perfectly so I think the problem is the car's suspension; not the trailer. Was recommended to get Jounce-style Springs like Timbrens. I had used them on a prior 2004 Suburban 1500 LT 4X4 but the ride was really rough. What shock absorbers would be best (need to lift the vehicle at least 4 inches in back) so that I don't need the Timbrens? The bumper pull trailer, fully loaded, doesn't exceed 5000 pounds.
