I know this is an old thread, but I just got the P0307 SEL, This right up convinced me to do the replacements. The number 8 spark is a PITA... but I appreciate the Forum for guiding my novice hands. several small "abrasions" later from the heat shield next the the #8 sparky... and its purring like a kitten again.

Thank you as always for keeping the poor man on the road without paying the high price of a dealership.
