Default STEERING GEAR LEAK

Last time I changed oil, noticed the the pinion end of the rack and pinion was wet to the point that it had dripped down onto the cross member. [:'(] Had the service mgr check and he said that GM had put out an advisory to the effect that there was some lube from assembly that would gradually seep out. So had them spray clean it good and will check next oil change. I hate oil leaks. []

There can be a small amount of seepage from the seals this is normal, but if you start noticing spots on your driveway/garage floor or you have to top off the fluid level then you have a problem.

This was more than a small amount of seepage. Will wait and see if it continues to the point of dripping again.
