Suburban dies while driving, and electrical issues.
I have a 2009 Suburban. Sometimes while driving, the door locks go up and down, the gauges and lights go to zero, then up again. This happens repeatedly every second. Then the car might the car shut off, and nothing electrical would work. Another time, it still ran and seemed fine when stopped, but when I restarted it, it acted as if the battery was disconnected. When I unhook the battery and wiggled the cables, it works again. This happens around once a week to once a month.
What could be the cause of this? Bad battery cables? Maybe a broken ignition switch?

Update:
So I fixed it by cleaning up the electrical connections. I cleaned the battery terminals with a wire brush and battery terminal cleaner. Then I unscrewed a bunch of grounds I found, cleaned them with a wire brush and put them back. I also took apart that fuse thing where the positive battery cable goes, and cleaned those connections. The problem started happening again a few months later, and I did the entire process again, and it has not happened since (the last time I cleaned it was over 6 months ago).

I think I cleaned it a total of three times, but it has not happened for over a year. Basically try disconnecting all the red and black wires and grounds and cleaning metal surfaces with a wire brush. Make sure to also clean the connections where the red wire goes into that black thing on the firewall. There is a cover that you take off to get to the connections.
