Thanks! I got it to start after a while by turning it over and feathering the gas. Definitely sounds like it's only running on 6. I'll have to check the injectors this week sometime.

Either a PCM issue or hardware.. Good Call Shark

Running on 6 should help your fuel economy. >.<

changed the injectors. only running on 3 cyl now! even better mpgs. so I changed the injectors again and now it won't start at all again. I don't get it. I don't think it's really a injector issue

Test the compression? Might be valve or piston related.. could even be timing

We're chasing our tails here. Sorry I haven't been more help.
Fuel-- Filter: check. Pump: check. Pressure Regulator? Pull the vacuum line and check for gas. diaphragm could be toast..
O2 sensor? Could be doing a terrible job without throwing a code. $100.00 to replace all 4 - if you can get 'em out they can be 'cleaned' by soak in gas overnight.
MAF senor- Pop it out and hit it with some carb & choke or special MAF cleaner..

My boss just asked me if I want to buy her 03 burb.. 194,000mi $2500.. Thinking about selling the Subaru so I can go through all this with ya. Any takers?

that's a excellent idea! I wouldn't hesitate for a second on that's deal. I was thinking maybe the crank sensor is bad and it's not firing right? I'm sick of throwing money at this thing!
