Default superchips

Has anyone used the superchips on an 07 tahoe? How good is it? Is it a noticable difference in performance? I am interested in making this upgrade.

Yes. Pretty good. Yes in the perf tune. Haven't tried to towing tune. It also has data acquisition now.

Just plug it in the OBD II port and follow the instructions. Just remember that once you program your truck, always put it back to stock before taking to dealer cuz they might do a software upgrade and then you'll just be left with an expensive piece of electronics.

Shark,
I have always had mine on 87 octane perfomance tune. What do you set your shift points and PSI at?

When you select performance do you get to customize or does it automatically select them for you? Is 93 or 91 required with performance tune?

Dre...what kind of prices have you found on the Superchips? I am looking at the Edge Evolution and the Superchips programmer but can't make a decision on which way to go.

When I ran the 87 tune, I just left everything at stock. 91 octane ($3.00/gal here today) for perf tune. Didn't feel smart enuf to mess with shift points, etc.
