Default Tahoe Speakers Cutting Out

This has happened before, but on on the way to work this morning the drivers side front speaker cut out. I have the Bose system with rear entertainment and without nav. What is confusing it only will do it when I am using the front aux jack for my ipod. I switch over to radio when this happens and everything is normal.

Any ideas on what is going on?

Thanks in advance.

Nick

I would venture a guess that there is debris on the jack connection and you are getting intermittent contact for the right side stereo connection.
Try cleaning the jack for the ipod.

it might me the ipod cord is bad. those cords get cracked wires in them and can make on side not work. I would try another cord from your ipod to your radio and see what happens this would be the cheaper thing to try first.

Doesn't sound like blown speakers if they work fine with the radio, sounds like a wiring problem or your auxiliary jack needs to be looked at, but that's just me and I've been drinking.

Thanks everyone for the answers. Has been working fine since I posted, I think it is related to the ipod cord. I took all the kinks out and is working fine.
