Default Tahoe trans. lines

Have 2007 Tahoe with 120k and the trans. lines where they go into rad. are leaking at the fittings. How hard is it to change lines? Anything out of the ordinary to be careful with? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Try tightening them before you change them. They might just have loosened up some. Be careful when handling the lines. They are steel and are not very flexible, can kink easily. Be careful when you start to thread the fitting in, they can cross thread easily.

Thanks, will try that when it gets a little warmer out. Not leaking too bad, just sort of weeping. Want to fix it before it gets worse. If tightening doesnt work Is it possible to cut line and put new end fitting on or does line need to be replaced? If it's a high pressure? line it probably should be replaced I would think. Thanks again.
