Default TECH 2 rim upgrade

is there any tech 2 upgrades that would change the OEM rims size from 17" to 22" or 24". i know that the escalade comes from the factory with 22" rims. Would a cadillac dealer be able to do this update? I really dont want to go out and by a superchip for this upgrade.

I have nothing more. I didnt use the upgrade as I have 24's. HOwever, the reason I know is that the service manager made a phone call checking on a 24 upgrade and they told him they dont recommend 24's and all they have updates for are 22's. It was only a chevrolet/pontiac dealership.

If it were my tahoe i would go out any buy the rims i want, but upgrade stock brakes, because if you get over 22' it puts stock brakes at a mechanial disadvantage. Rolling weight is the hardest to stop, thats probably why they dont have the 24' upgrade.

I had this done to my 2007 Burb. 17" to 22" upgrade done by Chevy Dealer. You should call around for a Chevy dealer who knows how to do programming because many do not. Usually they let their top tech do this upgrade but I still would let a Cadillac dealer do this upgrade because they're more versed.

what did you tell the dealer to do. My dealer stated he could not update it for 22's, that Gm would not let him, cuz it did not come with the hoe.

Thats crazy. My tahoe had 17's, then I upgraded to factory 20's and the dealership did the tech 2 update for 20s. I then went to 24's and they said they only have a GM update for 22's and nothing for 24s. I asked if they expected anything to come out and they said NO. Gm doesnt recommend anything larger than 22's. There is a 22 update out there.

There's three ECM upgrades the dealer must do:
(1) Change tire size in ECM
(2) Change wheel size in ECM
(3) Change psi settings in ECM if you have TPMS in vehicle
