'02 Tahoe, 5.3L. Gauging oil levels has always returned inconsistent results, but looking at similar topics by others and looking up replacement dipsticks, I'm now wondering if mine is even the correct part for this year engine. On mine, there is a fairly sharp bend 2 inches from the end of the stick. I can't find any others with the same bend. Is this just some offbrand part or should I look for a replacement?
