Question tire pressure monitor

Hello I wish to remove the transmitting tire valve with regular ones. Can I disconnect the tire pressure monitor to avoid the warning signs in the cluster.

Welcome to the forum.

I don't know but not sure why you'd want to remove them.

you know I just upgraded to 20" aftermarket wheels, and thanks to a guy at the dealership I didn't install the TPMS in the new wheels, (he said that you just take the TPMS fron the stock wheels and install them in the new ones, but he didn't mention that new valve stems are needed for this install, so the guy at the tire place installed the regular valve stems) so I got the stupid warning light in the cluster!!! what did I do? I just put the sensors in a pvc canister that I just made a couple of hours ago! and I'm going to pump it up to 35 psi place it in the truck and the light will have to go off thinking that I now have good pressure in all 4 tires, lets see what happens.
But why in hell do you want to remove the TPMS from your truck anyway?
Now I don't know if you are going to get a second warning light on the cluster if you unplug the one for the TPMS but I guess that the best thing to do in your case is what I did with the sensors.
