Yeah dude, I did it. Because of the rims I have, townfair would not put the sensors in for me, I had to beg them to put the tire on then rim, and I would put the sensor in myself and then they inflated and balanced the tires.. There were two problems, the sensor was standing up when in the valve stem whole and not laying down, so if i got a flat I could damage the sensor, and then the hole was too deep for the sensor. I removed the seal that comes with the sensors and put a round seals on and then the factory seal. This way i spaced it and it fits fine in the hole. and to me, it doesn't look like they will hit if i get a flat. Oh yeah, they also said that the sensors won't work right with after market wheels anyways. Not true, they work the same, cause it's a radio frequency. Onlything is that you will have to reset the sensors, as in let the vehicle know which sensor is in which position. Well good luck dude.

I just had the tire shop reuse the tire pressure sensors. They said it was no problem and i havent had any issues since. Viper is right just make sure to relearn the sensor locations after you switch and after each time you rotate your tires.
