I have a 2006 Tahoe LT, and slapped some 22's on it. Unfortunately, the tire pressure sensors from my stock tires didn't fit on my 22" tires.

Do to the obstacles I faced that day just to put the 22's on my Tahoe. I put them on anyways with out the sensors. In result, I was riding around with my car saying, "Check tire pressure".

Now, I took off the 22's rims and its still saying, "Check Tire Pressure". Is there a way to reset it so it will go back to normal reading the tire pressure again.

 

check the owners manual there is a certain way to recalabrate the system that can be done on your own.

 

Reseting the tire pressure lights on these are so fun. Everytime I get to do it I nearly pee my pants in joy.

First get in and turn the key on but the engine off
Push the e-brake down to the floor
Then turn the headlight switch from on to off 4 times and ending with it in the off position
The horn should honk like twice I think
Next start at the left-front wheel and let the air pressure out for 8 seconds.
At that time or a few seconds afterward the horn will honk
Then go to the right-front and do the same, and then the right-rear, and then the left-rear.
After you have done all 4 wheels then go back inside the truck and cycle the key from off back to the key on and the engine off.

You have a time limit to do it in but it's not hard once you get the hang of it. It might take you a couple times cause their is so much to do and then even if you do it right the computer might not take it.

Also after you get done then you can go back and air the tires up to what ever pressure you want.
