Tire Question
Just curious what size tires you guys are running on 20's? My factory tires are P275/55R20 Bridgestone Alenza. My opinion is that this is a heavy vehicle for "P" tires. I am thinking about going to "LT's" - especially during the winter. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Steve

Thanks for the info. I like the Dueller tread design and had similar Bridgestones on my 2500 Duramax. Have any of you gone to LT's on your Suburbans?

I replaced mine with Goodyear Eagle II's 285/50 r20's. But be prepared the Bridgestones have a tread wear rating of 700 (thats really good) most other tires are around 300-400 area. So where you got 60k out of the Bridgestones, you'll get 30k out most other tires.

My wife's 2004 OEM Bridgestones only got about 45K and they were rotated regularly. Replaced w/ BFGs as TireRack shows that they wear better than the 'stones. We'll see.

The OEM tires that came with my 2007 are still in great shape and provide fantastic traction in all conditions. I have never had tires that wore down so slowly.
I don't see any reason to switch or look for something else, unless it is absolutely better in all aspects. SO far, these OEM all seasons have been the best.
