Tire Sensors
Okay this is probably a dumb question and one that I can look up in the owners manual but since I am here thought I would throw it out- I had my tires rotated on my 07 LTZ and now they show up backwards on my display- what I mean is I just added air to the two front tires bringing them up to 35 # but my display shows my rear tires at 35 and the front at 28 & 29. Is there a recalibration that the dealer should have done when my tires were rotated?
Thanks

You can do it yourself. Look into the owners manual and follow the directions. Thats what I did for about four times until I realized I needed to bleed the air until the horn honked. The directions say to set up the system for calibration. That was the easy part, but what is vague is the book says to bleed the air for about a few seconds 7 to 13 and the horn should honk telling you that the system recognizes the sensor.
Acutally you have to keep bleeding air and forget counting and the horn will honk eventually. You start from the drivers, to the passenger, then passenger rear and then driver rear. After that, once you have completed, then go back and air your tires up. I found the sensors are not as reliable as a precison tire gage. Your gage may say 35 psi, while the sensors say 32psi. They never seem to equal out. The sensor indications will change again once you drive out and down the road.
