Default Torque converter control?

Howdy all. First post. Not sure if this has been covered, if so, please forgive me. 99 k2500 suburban 7.4, 4l80e. Starts and engine runs fine, when engine is not up to running temp it drives fine. When up to temps, if I come to a stop, the truck will die. It will start back up fine, but as soon as you shift into gear the rpm will drop off and it will die. I have been able to give slight throttle and will be enough to get it to stay running then it will sit in drive with just foot on brake, but if I shift it into reverse or drive and come to a stop it will die. I have checked for vacuum leaks. I have checked and cleaned the IAC. There are no codes. I read some symptoms of the TCC and it sounds like it might have something to do with it? Anybody have or had this kind of issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
