Default Tpms/smart key receiver location

Hi,

I hope someone can tell me where the smart key signal receiver is located on a 2018 Chevy Suburban. I believe this is the same receiver that is used for TPMS. My TPMS light came on at the same time my key fob stopped working. I've heard others have the same problem as me, where the TPMS comes on and their key stops working. I found the part I need to buy but I cannot find anywhere on the internet WHERE the receiver is physically located on the vehicle, so that I can replace it. Hope someone can help!

I don't know if this will help or not but I found 2 parts that may or may not help you

https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-pa...bC12OC1nYXM%3D

and

https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-pa...bC12OC1nYXM%3D

the first link is the receiver the second link is the amplifier that helps receive the signal from the key from a far distance.

Hope this helped!

This is the part that I bought, but I don’t know where it is so that I can replace it.

Hi,

Did you change the amplifier? Is there any programming required after replacing the part?
