Default Trailer lights w/07 Tahoe

Does anyone have ay recommendations on trailer lights while towing with my 07 Tahoe? The directionals, hazards, and brake lights come on when used, however the lights are not staying lit. I've checked the fuses and found that the Trailer parking lights (# 24 15 amp) was blown so I replaced it. Got the lights to come on once while in the manual position but they haven't come back on since. Any suggestions, or is there a fuse that I over looked?

Thanks

Did you try another trailer to see if the problem is the truck or the trailer?

I haven't, and I should have been more clear in my original post. I just purchased this Tahoe last month and my trailer lights worked perfectly on my previous vehicle (01 dodge durango)

Default trailer

I use a volt meter to test trailer wiring... its easier than finding another trailer...

then u know for sure if its the truck or trailer...

I'd still buzz out the trailer wiring just because it worked on another vehicle doesn't mean its wired right. I say that because the trailer is the most likely cause, that and if you verify its all good you can 100% focus on the vehicle end.
The trailer wiring will be a heck of a lot easier to check out too.

If the Tahoe you bought looks like its been used for trailering or has had some modifications to the wiring or electrical system then continue your investigation on the Truck

I'd start at the connector at the bumper checking for bent or shorted pins following it back to the front of the vehicle, checking for pinches and cuts, if the 12 volt accessory/ trailer battery cable is hooked up that goes to the rear harness I would disconnect it unless you need it.

To MDTahoe,
I did test it on another boat trailer when I bought my 5 to 7 wire converter and I noticed the same symptoms on that particular trailer, i.e., parking lights didn't come on, but the directionals and hazards would come on when used.
