Default Transmission leak questions 02 tahoe

i have a friend who has a 02 tahoe 5.3l 2wd.
Just had a used tranny put in it, and shifts good, but when you park on a incline it leaks fluid out the rear of tranny where the drive shaft goes in, i know there is a seal there, so my question is how hard is it to change that seal and should i change anything else while in there. it leaks pretty good when on big incline. but not when flat, just a drop or two. thanks

That is easy. However I'd check the fluid level. If you have to replace the seal, drop the drive shaft, and pop out the seal, then drive in a new garlock seal.
