Default Trouble With lift gate

my battery died and i got a new one,but now my liftgate won't
open everything else seems to be working fine,
is there a way to open it manually, it doesn't have a keywhole.
please help

Did you try the button in overhead and remote?

When you grab the handle (and press pad) if it doesn't unlatch then you can't open it. Once it unlatches you can lift manually.

i forgot to mention my truck is an 05, i don't have an overhead button, i pushed the unlock button on the door
tried the keyless entry but nothing, it doesnt sound like power is getting to it, but i've checked the
fuses and they all seem good
any suggestions

I think you hit it on the head. Either no power to the lock or the lock itself failed. Now why it happened with just a battery replacement is beyond me unless it's a function of the BCM. Maybe Dave can weigh in.
