I am from Germany and english is not my first language. So I hope you can understand what I am trying to explain.

I have a 2016 SUBURBAN and the trunk does sometimes no close. It always open by remote controll or by pressing button on trunk. But closing often does not work. I have to close " by hand" then.

I changed the button for closing and the attenuator yet. Ther is no positive result.

Any idea ?

Full code scan of all 4 code families is needed to see what codes may be recorded. B, C and U codes affect the body control modules while P codes are powertrain related.
There are sensors in the sides of the hatch for example along with others. Full complete scan of the computer / module systems would be the first step.
