UNEXPECTED REBATE
Just rec'd a notice from GM that they were rebating $100 of my GMPP (ext warranty) due to the new 5 yr/100K warranty. The funny part is that when I bought it, which was after the new warranty came out, I got the salesman to knock $300 off due to the new warranty. I won't spend it 'til it's in the bank tho.

RE: UNEXPECTED REBATE
I purchased my 07 2wd 3LT Tahoe on 8/25/07. I paid $1000.00 for GMPP (5 year 75K$200 deductable). A couple of months agoI got a refund of $135. Today I went back to the dealer canceled the 5yr 75K$200 and purchsed the same one with a $0 deductable for $1060. Sofor $195 I now have a $0 deductable.

RE: UNEXPECTED REBATE
Mine was actually $960 (less the $100 rebate if I get it) for 6 years/48K miles. I'll hit the six years first.
I share your dislike for the hawks.
