Very Bad Shaking with 1999 Chevy Tahoe
I have a 1999 Chevy Tahoe and it started shaking a couple days ago as soon as i cranked up. It shakes real bad when I'm driving and when I am in park. I have no idea as to why its shaking it was fine when i went to work then later that evening when i cranked it up it was shaking/vibrating real bad. The engine light started flashing also. Can anyone help? Thanks!

ok, it's called misfiring (the engine is misfiring or "missing" and is causing it to shake) rather than a shaking when driving caused by a wheel or alignment problem... and it's causing your check engine light to blink. it could have many causes
which engine does your tahoe have? 5.7L or 5.3L?
can you pull the codes using a scantool or any auto parts will do this for free
need to know if it's a random misfire or a misfire in a specific cylinder
also check in the oil for any coolant (milkshake, bad smell) because a failing lower intake manifold gasket is a common issue at least on the 5.7L engine and can cause many problems and driving with coolant in the oil will destroy the entire engine quickly.
also check your distirbutor cap and rotor, and spark plug wires, and if you don't know if they were ever replaced do that
also make sure you are using oem acdelco spark plugs. many of the fancy new spark plugs that boast better power or fuel economy don't run well in these engines...
hope that's helpful and please report back your findings. we'll get your 'hoe working again
