Default Volume control on steering 2008 Burban LTZ

Does anyone know if the sensitivity can be increased on the volume control on steering wheel on 2008 suburban LTZ? Mine resonds so slowly I rarely use it. I reach over and turn the **** and takes 1/3 the time!? Changing the settings for aut volume control does nothing to response time for controls on steering wheel. It just seems so sluggish and slow when dec/inc volume for radio. I have bose nav system. Tx in advance!!

Default volume

I wish it had a volume # on the display to tell me what it was at... why doesn't it?

like a simple progress bar or something...

I usually use the steering wheel ones, it's just way easier.

i also miss my ATT (Attenuator) button on my old Kenwood...

No display on the volume, just a long wait while depressing the button on the steering wheel. I can do it in half the time by turning the ****!? My wife's Envoy steering controls (vol) moves the sound up and down much faster. It's so slow, my cell rings a couple of times before I can get the sound down using the steering controls.

Not sure if you're pressing-and-holding the volume buttons, but I find that repeatedly tapping the button works much faster than holding the button.

If you haven't tried it, try it.

Default tapp

tappa tapp tappa..... i use the tap method too.

I wish that when you killed the voice part of the nav system it didn't remove the 'beeps' part.

it was like they intentionally made the sat nav **** poor... I've seen more options on a casio wrist watch...

Thanks for info people. Using the tapping method really doesn't change anything. May take it to dealer to see what they think...
