I like tahoes that have the bumper piece shown in this picture:

But I dislike the tahoes that are missing that piece and just black. Can anyone tell me where I could buy that bumper piece, and why only some tahoes have that piece? Thanks!!

 

Your picture is a Z71 Tahoe / Suburban. It is setup for more offroad work. It sounds like you are more interested in the prerunner style of truck. You should be able to purchase this type of bumper with skid plates to make your truck meet your style. The Z71 has this look and non Z71 doesn't.

There are lots of prerunner accessory sites for adding enhancements to your truck. It is just a matter of how much $$$$ you want to spend.

I will see if I can buy a z71 bumper for maybe $1000 as I would rather not spend 15k extra on a Tahoe, haha! Another possibility is I could sand that part down, tape it up, and paint it...may not be one of my greatest ideas. Thanks for your help!

On the Z/71, the silver part of the bumper is just painted plastic. IOW, just a faux bumper.

You realize replacing all of the standard bumper cover parts w/ the Z/71 parts is a rather pricey operation? I quit counting when I got to $1200. Then you have to paint it.

 

the z71 also has square fog lights... gotta buy those.

This is what i want to know.. You see that console? Well right there on the top where you may put your pens, pencils, etc. I want to know how did he get one with wood grain there? And is it something that i can just buy separate?? Because i would love to try to match it to that cup holder i attached as well.. On ebay it said it came from an 08 Avalanche LT..

I contacted them last week, as I was looking at their steering wheel spoke update to burl. I never liked the grey plastic on the steering wheel and their product improves the look of the interior and makes it look the way it should have come from the factory. Some people want to change out the entire steering wheel to a wood / leather look.
