This black plastic thing is mounted on the top and is normally obscured by the sun visor in my 2003 new to me Tahoe. It has a wire attached to it that goes under the plastic it is attached to. Can you guys help me ID it? Thanks. Tom

 

My guess is the microphone for OnStar.

 

^^^ X2. Mine has one on the dash for that or the cell phone speaker thingy. Did'nt check into it because I'll never use it but the kids like it cause it looks 'cool'
