I dont know your state laws. But i dont believe you can get your front windshield tinted except to the tint line, which is probably 8-12 inches from the top down.

I am getting my front 2 tinted tomorrow for $50.00 here in Houston. I am not going to get the 3M tint I am going with the SolarGuard brand. It matches the factory tint better. I have had good luck with both brands. If I were going to tint the complete vehicle with clear windows I would probably go with 3M. To each his own.

I had my two front side windows tinted with 20% 3M, and it is a little bit darker than the factory tint on the rest of the tahoe. I also had the whole windshield tinted wtih 50% which darkens all the rest of the windows. At night, you can't see into the tahoe at all but you can still see out of it (very important). I paid $100 for all three windows.

I paid $150 all around...I did limo tint on all except the side ones. I did the next one down on the side ones. At first I had all limo tint all around, but had the sides removed and got the next one down. The charged me $10 to remove them and $40 to put up new ones, so I actually spent $200. I've seen many cars and trucks like that, but my experiance was to dangerous at night. I could not see if any pedestrians were crossing the road.
