Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

so 20% is less tint than 30%...

Right from the DMV web site
Yep, you've got that exactly backward.

I'm in PA, and it's my understanding that you can't add ANY tint to the front window. Only what comes from the factory is legal (and that legal limit has already been determined to be legal), and anything added is illegal. You can board up or paint out your back windows if you'd like, but you can't touch the front ones. That's my understanding.

That being said, I have my fronts tinted to a perfect match. Where in PA are you? I can point you to a great shop if you're anywhere near Philly.

Default legal

that link is to the DMV web site... so it's legal to have windows that pass 71% or higher of light

I'm near Harrisburg, but first I have to finish my VSS swich hack thing... then I can look more at the windows...

True...but I've not seen many aftermarket tint manufacturers that offer 70% - Huper Optik may but then again it may not be an automotive tint. Forumla One has a 75 and an 85 (UV Shield) but the promo material says "for the driver who wants UV protection without a tinted appearance" - I don't think that's what you want. Let us know what you find.

The front glass is 70% from factory. KS allows 30% so my tint shop used a 50% which gives me 35% FWIW. YMMV
