Default ZX +12 OFFSET WHEEL ANY PROBLEMS?

Dave,

I am looking at some 24" wheels to put on my 2007 4x4 tahoe. The wheel is available in +12 offset, and +40 offset. What will one or the other do since the factory offset is +31?

I have spoken with a forum member that has the +12 version and he said just slight rubbing when in reverse. That was his only complaint besides the rougher ride.

Will either of those offsets cause any problems? Which do you recommend? Thanks in advance.

I don't recommend 24" wheels on the Tahoe, you’ll have some rubbing issues with wheels and tires that are this large and there really isn't much that can be done about it.
I’m not a good source of info on this subject though since I don’t work with much aftermarket stuff.
