Default 2000 Tahoe Trailer Wiring Problems
All trailer lights work except for when I turn on the headlights> when the headlights are on and I hit the brake the trailer lights turn off? Brake lights work on the trailer when headlights are off? Try'd everything I can think of, grounds, harnesses, lights. Just a simple boat 16' V-bottom trailer> please help!

Usually what you're describing is caused by a grounding issue.
