2000 Tracker 2.0 running rough
HELP! Its driving me nutts. My 2000 2.0 Tracker is miss firing jumping around and not powering up like it should when its warm. I have changed fuel pump which did not need, new spark plugs which did need, cam sensor which needed, put a new mass airflow sensor which apparently was not bad to begin with. Its starts and runs great when cold. It also starts fine when hot just doesnt power up wright and miss fires. No codes are showing as of now since I just did all this yeaterday and reset the ecm. I know it takes a little time for light to come back on if there is problems. I have yet to replace the EGR valve but I did clean it, I have not replaced tank pressure control solenoid valve, EVAP canister purge valve, map sensor, 02 sensor, TPS , and the Idle air control vavle, and of course when this all began these items were not coming up on my scanner..I am already 500 bucks into this, Please does any one have an idea? if it cost me another 200 or more thats fine but I hope it resolves the issues. This is a great little car, my wife loves it but when stuff like this happens, well you know the rest..Appreciate any bodies input..Thanks...Chris

Hi, i have a 2000 tracker 2dr, 2wd runs o.k. Bought it used 85,000 miles.
I am retired, keep it in my garage, fixing it up, runs fine. I am going to
change the plugs sometime, how does the plug wire connecter come off of the plug coil, do they just pull off or is there a push to release clip.

So i am going to install new plugs, ac rapid fire #5.
Think i will use 12 lbs on torque wrench.
I do not want to break anything, so the gray plastic connectors that
attach to the coil just pull straight off, there is no push to release
clip...please clearify...
