If it's not the pump it's likely a ruptured diaphragm inside the front diff.

If you can blow air into the diff with your mouth the diaphragm is shot.

Default Got the 4WD working but new issue

I got the 4WD working it was the disc, pulled one from another we had and it works fine. New issue is it starts for little bit then dies or will run then when at idle or coasting down hill will die and battery light will go on. I changed the battery and it’s fully charged, I was wondering if it would be the alternator or something else?

Measure the battery voltage with the engine off.
The battery voltage should be about 2 volts higher with the engine running if the alternator is working correctly.
The battery light will always illuminate if the engine is not turning.

Alternator is fine, we’ve narrowed it down to either the cam sensor or the fuel regulator going to pull a cam sensor off of one we have and see if it does the trick, leaning more toward cam sensor because last time it ran it would idle high then lower then back up continuously

Is this the four cylinder or the V6?
