Hello. I am having trouble fixing my 2002 Tracker 2.5L. Got the service engine soon and the code P0103- Mass or Volume air flow A circuit high. Car was running rough, losing power, and would turn off when idling. I replaced the mass air flow sensor (MAF), but it did not seem to fix the problem. The issues still persist. Has anyone had this issue and would anyone know what the solution may be? I have been told it could possibly be the intake air temperature sensor, any suggestion is that might be correct?
I'm not 100% sure on this but I think "MAF circuit high" indicates an open circuit. If replacing the MAF sensor did not fix the problem you may have a broken wire. This is part of the test procedure in the factory service manual:
