Default Can't connect to computer

I have a 2000 chevy tracker, it's a 2d 2.0L. I'm not getting any power to the computer and I'm not sure were to go from now.

If you don't have any blown fuses (specifically the 10-DOME, 20-amp IG and the 15-amp MAIN/FI), swap your MAIN relay with the headlight, taillight or fuel pump relay.

What if that doesn't work? Do you know what wire actually turns the computer on and where it runs to? Also thank you

On the Diagnostic plug, pin # 16 should have power that would turn on the scan tool.. Don't stop there, also check pins #4 & 5 for a good ground.

I don't have prints for a 2000 2.0 liter. I do have prints for a 2001 2.0 liter. I don't know how similar they are. You could check for voltage on C1 pin 2. If you have 12 volts there, pull the DOME fuse and see if it goes away. The DOME fuse should supply power to the PCM at all times. The "wake-up" voltage comes from the MAIN relay. If the 2000 and 2001 schematics are the same the MAIN relay energizes when the PCM drives C1 pin 9 low when the key is turned on. You should be able to feel the MAIN relay click when the key is turned to on. If it clicks, check for 12 volts at C4 pin 4. If my prints don't match your car you will have to pay to get a 30-day access to Mitchell 1 DIY.

Thank you very much. I'll see if I can find the problem. Thank you

On my Tracker the MAIN relay is located next to the fuse panel. You can swap it with the fuel pump relay.

Thank you. I've tried switching them but didn't have any luck. I did swap the main relay for one that was in a vehicle of the same make, model and year that i knew worked, unfortunately I didn't have time to see if that solved the problem.

If the relay is not faulty, is the PCM energizing the relay? Also, do you mind sharing how you found out the computer is not getting any power?
