Can't connect to computer
How could I find out if the PCM is energizing the relay? And I was told that it wasn't getting any power. I don't have a clue to what I'm doing, my father is the one who's doing most the work. All I know is we couldn't connect to the computer with the scan tool. We did an engine, transmission and transfer case swap. The wiring stayed with the engine and everything came out of the same make, model and year as the vehicle I got. We were able to connect to the computer before we swapped everything. We also tried using the computer from the vehicle we took everything out of (which is the one that is currently in the vehicle)
Put your finger on the MAIN relay. Turn the key to RUN. The relay should click when you turn the key. Actually both the MAIN and the Fuel Pump relays should energize at the same time. The Fuel Pump relay will then de-energize three seconds later. You should be able to hear the fuel pump motor during those first three seconds.

I was finally able to work on my truck today. We took the dash off and found some chewed wires. Don't know what we did but it it started and we were able to connect to the computer. Hopefully it stays like that, but thank you all for the help
No, i dont think there was anything like that. We were able to get it started before we fixed the wires that were chewed
