I called Ttruck.com, they don't have the parts. I checked Partsouq.com and they only have the snap ring. They are located in Dubai. I guess I'll wait to see if suzukiautomotiveparts.com will come through for me. I checked with all the wreckers in my area and no one even has a Tracker (Suzuki) in their yard. Does anyone have salvage parts they would be willing to sell me?

Hey L84sky- I just got the parts delivered today. WooHoo! The order was from suzukiautomotiveparts.com. and ended up being shipped through Cherry Hill Mitsubishi. Ordered on 11/3/23, I'm glad they didn't take the 10-12 weeks as stated. Maybe I'll get this Tracker on the road before the snow hits. Thanks much for your assistance with this.
Did you ever figure out why your vehicle as eating the snap ring? -crikman

Thanks for verifiy suzukiautomotiveparts.com is a reliable place to get parts. I have added it to my list. And no, I have not figured out what is causing my snap ring issue. Maybe someday.

Update to my front end issue- Got the axle parts to my mechanic, but after install the Tracker still wanted to go into 4WD while driving. My mechanic said it could be one of the switches mounted on the transfer case. Back to suzukiautomotiveparts.com and Steve came through with not only a schematic, but got the parts to me within 3 weeks. I think they had to be shipped from Japan. Got the switches installed, and my mechanic said after driving for about 20 miles the situation in resolved. Thanks for your help in sourcing the parts and thanks to Steve at suzukiautomotiveparts.com!

>> Steve came through with ... a schematic

Did the schematic look something like this?

My 2001 automatic has two 4WD switches mounted on the transfer case.

I should have said an exploded parts diagram, not a schematic. It was helpful for me in determining which switch was the culprit. My mechanic replaced both, but told me the one on top, 4WD High, was corroded. It must have been shorting out, causing it to try to cycle into 4WD without moving the 4WD stick.
My thanks to you for hooking me up with Steve Ostrander at Cherry Hill Mitsubishi/Suzuki 856-382-2309 (suzukiautomotiveparts.com). He really came through for me.
