Default Where can I get axle parts

2001 Tracker. I need some parts associated with the front axles. There is a large washer with splines on it, the snap ring that secures it, and an internal bearing (not the wheel bearing). Sorry I can't be more specific. If anyone can help me source these it would be appreciated. Thanks -crikman

Chevy doesn't stock Tracker parts anymore. You'll have to do a Google search for these Suzuki part numbers.

Thanks much L84sky. This is very helpful. I have already found these parts on suzukiautomotiveparts.com. So Trackers are pretty much the same mechanically as when they were branded Suzuki? I'm new to these vehicles.
Do you have a link to this parts diagram showing all the part numbers? I'd like to give it to my mechanic to make sure there are no other missing parts in my front end. I appreciate your help. -crikman

Both the Chevrolet Tracker and its North American Suzuki Grand Vitara twin sister rolled off the same production line at the CAMI automotive plant in Ingersoll, Ontario Canada. Most of the parts are interchangeable but the wheels and front brakes are not. Megazip.net is a popular site for Suzuki parts. https://www.megazip.net/zapchasti-dl...el-hub-3821345

I found the washer and snap ring at suzukiautomotiveparts.com (see exploded view above) but the bearing (#09263-28030) comes up not applicable for a 2001 Vitara (Tracker) 4wd . Does anyone know how I can get the correct bearing?

I have replaced that bearing.

The part number you have is correct for a 2001 Tracker with 4WD.

L84sky you are true gold. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you getting me the correct info on these parts. I put my order in and with any luck I'll have the parts in hand in a few of days. Looks like I'll have the Tracker in operation before winter sets in after all. Sweet! Thanks again for your help, much appreciated -Crikman

I had just acquired the vehicle and drove it several hundred miles. First I was getting a clunking from the front end that was diagnosed as bad sway bar ends. I replaced them and the clunking stopped. Then, a couple of times while going between 30-40mph, I would get a rapid vibration, like going over the hash marks cut in the double yellow lines in the road. It would disappear after slowing to a stop. I took it to a couple of mechanics in town with no luck, and finally the last mechanic found I was missing the thrust washer, snap ring and he said I probably needed that shaft bearing. I can only assume that someone before me had the axle apart, maybe to get at the bearing, and then reassembled it missing those parts. I never heard the typical bad bearing grinding noises, so I don't think the damage was anywhere near as dramatic as the bearing in you picture.
I have a question- One of the previous mechanics told me there was a bolt under the axle cap missing from the drivers side. They saw one on the passenger side, so they added one to the drivers side. I don't see one in the exploded diagram. Was it correct to add one through the hole under the axle cap? -Crikman
