03 TB fuel smell

03 TB fuel smell
My moms TB has a strong fuel smell coming from it!! put it in the shop, and they said the only issue they found was 2 fouled plugs. o2 sensor fine cat is ok. not throwing a code except thermostat, which was just replaced. someone said that salt and rust can screw things up. but we are in Dallas! not very salty here. thanks for any help

ok we found the fuel smell issue! it was the fuel pressure regulator. after it was changed the shop went ahead and cleaned the injectors and changed the fuel filter for us.
now it runs great... except when you turn on the ac. when the ac engages the engines bogs down pretty hard and sometimes stalls out. the shop said that the compressor was bad but the air is still ice cold!
i was thinking the MAF sensor or the IAC but not sure
