07 Trailblazer Stalling/Window Control Module/Dash Lights Burnt Out/Rear Hatch Lock
Stalling
I used to put Indian Reservation gas into my truck but it started stalling after startup almost every time. I switched to good old American gas and now it only stalls when my tank is below 3/4. I don't know anything about cars and I have received varying answers from people. Everything from spark plugs, to distributor caps, to fuel injectors.
I've ran a couple bottles of fuel injector cleaner through and now it doesn't stall if there is more than a 1/2 tank. Thoughts and suggestions please. I'd like to get an idea of how much it costs before I start throwing it at a mechanic or having buddies tear it apart.
Window Control Module
My driver door window/lock module thingy is burned out. Toasted. Like I'm pretty sure it started on fire a little in my door. My truck only has 44k on it, I figured that the thing should last a little longer than that. My mechanic said that it would cost $300 for the module and then another $200 for the dealer to "program it". Does the dealer actually need to program it? It's annoying because I have to unlock the driver door, turn the car on(hopefully without stalling), and then lean over to unlock the doors from the passenger button. I can live without it for a while though.
Dash Lights
I just had three or four lights behind my heating controls, stereo, and tachometer burn out. Again, truck only has 44k, why are they burning out so soon. How hard/expensive to replace?
Rear Hatch Lock
My rear hatch doesn't lock. The neighborhood thieves know this and have swiped a couple things out of the truck previously and now I can't keep anything in there. WTF Chevy and how can I fix it?
Thanks for answering. I'm new to the forum and figured I should put all of my problems in one big post for ease of finding answers.
