2002 trailblazer won't stay running

2002 trailblazer won't stay running
Hello all,
Thanks in advance for any help and advice. I have an 02 trailblazer 4.2 4x4 with 125k . It starts up and sounds fine but it won't stay running. If I keep my foot on the gas it will run as long as I hold it there but the sec I take my foot off it dies immediately , I can put it in hear as long as I two foot it . It also won't let me rev in park but till about 2800 rpm but I think that may be a normal safety feature. I also have a gauge problem as well the gas light stays on even when full and the mph is stuck at ***** to the wall 140 i think. Anyway thx for any help .
