Default 2006 TrailBlazer running rich and rough idle

Data from OBD2

My son has a 2006 Trailblazer with 4.2 Inline 6 cylinder motor. He apparently has been driving it with the thermostat stuck open for a few months. I replaced the thermostat. After a few days he said it did not have power going up hills at first and then it was missing real bad and lacked power even on level roads. I checked it out and it seems to be burning real rich and smoking out the tail pipe. I changed the plugs and checked compression on all cylinders. All cylinders have 205 psi to 210 psi. This motor has 192,000 miles on it, so I also changed the O2 sensors. Pulled the codes on the motor and the one code that keeps coming up is P0017 which is Crankshaft position(CKP)-Exhaust camshaft position(CMP) Correlation. I replaced the crankshaft position sensor and the variable timing solenoid and the code keeps coming up. Also replaced the MAP sensor and MAF sensor. Checked fuel rail pressure and it sits at 54 psi with key on and shutters real fast between 57 psi - 60 psi with motor running. Checked vacuum and at idle it sits steady at 17 hg during idle and when you tap the throttle it drops to 0 hg and then goes to 14hg real quick and then back to17 hg. Checked the coils (Done a ohm's check with meter) and they seem ok. Also replaced the EVAP assembly as it showed bad. I have done all this and there is very little change. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. The Data that is provided from the OBD2 is after all the work I have done. I'm at a loss!

Did you perform a crankshaft sensor relearn procedure after replacing the crankshaft sensor?

you may want to check the timing chain, guides and the tensioner . if its stretched or jumped this code will set

Thanks for the response. What is a good programmer to use and what model? I started noticing that when I give it the gas the spark advance is not going up much, which makes sense because it is running rich. My spark advance will fluctuate between -5.0 to +23.0. Will the relearn solve the problem with the spark advance? Thanks for your input as it is greatly appreciated!

no ...a crank variation relearn procedure allows the pcm to learn the variations of the new crankshaft position sensor. it will prevent false misfire dtc at high rrm
