hey guys just would like to know if anyone knows any tricks or ideas for getting better fuel mileage anything will help its a 05 trailblazer thanks guys

 

Hi. Well, I own a 2005 EXT 4x4 V8 5.3 L (yes, the big one), and fuel economy is sure something you must suffer just to have one of this beauty. Now, i guess the most important is how hard you drive, and if you usually go city or highway. If you keep the tachometer under 2000 rpm, u can save a little (and i mean a little) gas, and in highway, keep around 65 mph, that's something. Have u tried using nitrogen in the tires??

By the way, how much mpg are you actually getting???? my best has been around 19.6 mpm in highway trip.
