Day time running lights

RE: Day time running lights
The vehicle has a defeat feature for DRLs. Just turn the headlamp switch to the leftmomentarily --the switchwill springback andthey are off. You will have to do this every time you start the vehicle. It's an extra step, but it would be an easy habit to adopt if you want the HID lights.

Yes there is a way...
Go over to www.*******.com
there is a member there--- who designed a DRL kill module of some sort.
I think its a module or something..
But I have seen MANY Trailblazer/Envoy owners upgrade to HID- and they say they get the DRL killer from him.... (buy it from him).
Go make a post and ask who the person with the module is...
when the DRL's are on- Its a reduced voltage- the computer controls the voltage by a piecewise(Spelling?) signal or something... I think its a square wave or sinusoidal that gets chopped at certain points to make the lower voltage...
this chopping of the wave is what causes the HID ballast to flicker....(something like that)
thus the need to get rid of the DRL's.

******' DRLs make me crazy.
Theres a write-up at www.trailvoy.com that involves nothing more than a relay and crimp connectors.
