I have a noise in my front end the best way I can describe it is a creaking sound it seems to be only when i brake I oiled the sway bar bushings and the nosie went away for three days then it came back. i then replaced the bushings and the noise is still there i dont know what else to do with this truck and the garage wants to replace the ball joint any suggestions on what i can try before spending the money to replace the ball joint that it may not need

 

It may be the ball joints. Why not take it to another garage and get another opinion?
