Default Got rid of the Burban picked up 03 Trailblazer

Hey guys, the old Burban finally bit the big one. I ended up getting a 2003 TB LS 2wd. I'm looking to replace factory stereo with a touchscreen receiver. Anybody in here done that. I'm looking for some advice on what to put in. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Default if U do

If you remove the stereo you realize it will compromise airbags in some cases warning sounds and all because Chevy or GM decided to use some circuit in the stereo with the computer system routed to and back there are some boxes that claim to restore everything but use at your own risk I had one installed it only worked sometimes the airbag circuit would flash 9 times I was told that it was not being turned on I replaced with a stereo from a GMC Envy and every thing came back working but the stereo is now locked

Default if you want

you can dump money to a shop that sells stereos and installs them
they will for an added fee fix the problem of no factory stereo
there is a company that sells cables to plug in behind the stereo and leaves a pigtail of labeled wires and relocates the original stereo to an area under the rear seat but on the passenger side
