Default Rear defroster cable

2006 Trailblazer. One of the cables on my rear window for the defroster came off. Can I just super glue it back on or does it need some special adhesive? Another question, should the defroster work with one of the cables still intact, because it doesnt?

It needs boths cables to make a circuit. Just gluing it on won't work unless the cable makes a good electrical connection to the defroster.

Yea I watched a video on YouTube and it was said I can solder it on or use conductive glue. I'll solder it and see if it starts working. Thank you for the reply.

I know this is an old thread but I just wanted to update it. I did solder the connection and checked the fuses but still no rear defrost. I don't need a reply I just wanted to update this thread, not a big deal if it doesn't work.
