Stopped working. Fluid dispenser still operates but wiper does not. Thought I checked all the fuses I could find but nothing seems amiss. Anyone have suggestions?

 

Mine is doing the same thing. Sometimes if I move the **** enough times it may work. I believe its the motor maybe. A new one from GM costs about $208.00 ... I am thinking maybe a used one, but then again I am not 100% sure its the motor either.

 

Look in the rubber boot that goes from the truck to the liftgate. There are 3 organge wires. The medium diameter wire is the power to the motor. Look to see if it is broken. Also, check the black wire.


Ijust repaired mine yesterday. Couldn't see broken wire in boot until I pulled on it it was only being held together by the insulation. Spliced orange power wire and GTG...

The opening and closing for the liftgate breaks these wires after so many years. Good Luck
