remove shift handle/****

Hey TB-Fans,

i want remove the shift **** on my 05 tb but in witch way?

Look right behind the shift ****... the part that faces the dash.
there is a small HEX screw there... loosen the screw

Here is a picture of the shift handle.
I have problems to remove the old one, i want remove only the **** with the leather.
